Often she was not one to argue with her favorite uncle's wife-whom, unlike most gods and goddess, she detested, her eyes flashed with a fire of dismay. "Yes, you do not wish to know what we speak of or the like... yet you take someone who is PART of this conversation... you say not to threaten him. He is the child of hijinks and misgivings, he is the addition of both of my children-who are a handful, and as for being a mother, as I know more than you my dear Persephone, this is the only way to keep a child like that DOWN..."
Then she sighed. "Persephone, he must stay, we need to continue our conversation. And as a Lordess of the Underworld, I hede your wish that none will get threatened. I WILL however, have him stay. I will explain it all to Nemesis when I go back with him. But the child MUST stay here." Her eyes flashed to Evander, whom she must say she grew a fancy to when he was younger-due to the uncanny similarities of him as her son Strife. "Evander, no more fire shall threaten you, you have my word."
Taking a breath, she knew that everyone would scoff at that. "I swear on your father I shant break it." She crossed her arms as Pain and Agony turned to stare at Persophone, their red gazes on her from the sides of Hecate and Discord respectively.
"Evander, your Aunts need to discuss whether you get the job as you requested... or not." She took in a breath and eyed Persephone. Her soft tone, as soft as the goddess of strife could possibly get, turned normal-harsh and angry, towards her 'Aunt'. "As for you..." yes Discord only respected a few, Persephone was not one, "Mind your own, this is important that we keep him here... even so that what we speak of effects everyone- your Husband and your Mother included. Leave him." The last of her sentance was harsh as she stared towards her 'aunt'.

Evander Glared at the two older Goddesses, his twice damned Aunts, one the apathetic Princess of the dead, who cared only for her precious pets, and the other the other the biggest bitch of them all Discord, his glare slowly turning to a smirk as he was distracted by the thought of what his mother would say if she learned he had been playing by the Athenian docks again. Shaking his head he glared at Discord, he glared trying to hide his jump from the fireball thrown at him before grinning and blowing a kiss to her, though instead a fireball flying from his puckered pink lips towards the Goddess of chaos.
Catching the scent of flowers Evander quickly plastered on a look of injured innocence and pouted towards his more ‘lively’ aunt and stepping towards her he turned his head as he saw to puffs of blue flame revealing his two pet ferrets Imp and Jinx, grinning he picked up the two mischief making animals and placed them on his shoulders and once more looked to his three aunts the picture of innocence “You know Aunt Discord, maybe just maybe if you hadn’t of thrown fireballs at your children they wouldn’t have turned out into murderous scum?” The demi-god troublemaker asked in a sing song voice.
“Besides if I get the...” he paused and looked to Persephony “...Item what would I do with it then, give it to you?” he asked with a childish glare at his father’s sister. “No why not hide it here in the underworld, Tarturus or the Elysian Fields perhaps?” he asked them in a quizzical voice. “That way it can be watched by Aunt Hecate’s pets and Aunt Pers” He added just to see what Discord would do.

Persephone heard the first words that Discord spoke, and she pulled her hand back, turning to stare at the chaotic Goddess with slightly narrowed eyes. There was not many Gods or Goddesses that Persephone did not like, but Discord was one of them. She always knew that when it came to that woman, nothing good would come. And like her own mother, Persephone was soft spoken and kind to all, even when she disliked them, but unlike her mother, she could grow a temper in the end. And her temper was slowly beginning.
"Conversing with someone, does not intitle threatening them with fire or with anything. And if you call treating a child like some dog under you. As if they are yours to control, than you do not know a thing about mothering. It's pitiful that I child understands this more than you Discord."
Persephone turned her gaze to Evander who picked up his two ferrets and place them on his shoulders. He was now at her side. She smiled softly to him, a gentle look upon her face. She could not say she loved Evander like a son, and she knew how troublesome and mischevious he could be. But she had respect for him, a child. She knew that things could be brighter in the future, and she knew that as a child, he deserved all the love and respect he could get. And much needed support.
Her brow raised a bit at this mentioning of an 'item' and a important discussion which involved herself. But as much as her curiousity came, she did really not care at the moment. She was only momentarily satisfied at the promising of not hurling another fireball, from Discord. She did not trust her cousin much at all. "I would grant that request Discord. But the fact is, that if Evander wishes not to stay, then he is allowed to leave. You have no right to deny his own wished and control him." her tone as always was soft and gentle, like a soft breeze in the air. Persephone had taken little noticed of the two dogs as she spoke. She was used to the dark pair, and in fact she was used to just about everything in this realm now.
Persephone lowered her gaze to Evander again and smiled. Somehow she was reminded of Adonis, whom stayed with her for the yearly time she was with her mother. "And I would take very good care to protect any gift you leave Evander." though she was not sure what was being spoken of, she just smiled again to him and then the words of Discord came. Harsh and angry. This riled up Persephone's temper once more and she shot her eyes sternly towards her. " I suggest you mind your tongue. And it IS my business. As long as you are in this Realm you ARE my business as well. As is Evander, as is Hecate. So do not try and boss me around in my own home. And I will not listen to anything you command." her eyes glanced to Hecate for a moment. She did have respect for that woman, as dark as she was. But she also was not the biggest fan either. But Hecate did her part with respect and rightness. And she was good at what she did, helping Persephone's husband out as well. So Persephone had no quarrel with her.
Suddenly she turned to Evander again and kneeled. " Evander..What do you want? I think it time someone ask you what you want. Stay and continue this conversation, or leave and return to your mother, Who I hope was sent word that you were taken.." her eyes glared at Discord once more as if to say you are selfish as always before back to him. The brightness she was always known for, gleaming there.

Her eyes narrowed. "Note this now, Persephone. This was not your realm intentionally. Hecate and Hades were left charges of this realm, FAR before you." Her body took in a deep breath.
"As my word, I promised not to harm the ilk... and my word is thicker than the hide of a manticore." She crossed her arms again looking down to Evander. "Until your father and I finish our discussion about this item... I wish for it to be held far away from my daughter."
Her eyes looked to Persephone, suddenly her voice was soft. "My daughter was my life... my first born. She was just a mischeivious brat like her cousin here... then her FATHER, your father, cast her from her home. Her heart died as she was flung from our Olympus home... my heart died as I knew my daughter would no longer join me to watch the wars from Olympus." Her arms crossed. Eyes saddened. "My heart died with the outcasting of my daughter-and my son paid for that. Now, I wish to mend some things... and your high and mightiness won't stope it."
Once more she turned to Evander, her eyes narrowed, but not harsh like normal. The kisses of fire flowed towards her and she caught them in a scalding hand. "Now, that was something your father would do Evander." She crossed her arms-her palm still hot and simmering with the burning flesh-which quickly healed upon itself. "Evander, after your aunt and I talk, I will not fight for you to take the item. BUT you must promise me to hide it within Olympus. Where Ate cannot and will not find it." She almost looked pleading as she said that to him-in truth, she loved Zeus... but this was something that she would never utter... only keep it welled within her black heart.
Then she almost laughed, the comment of Evander about her children almost cracking her up. "...Ate, yes she's murderous... but Strife is just as you are-but older. A big prankster... but because he knows not who his father is... he looks to yours Evander, as a father figure." She looked to see what his reaction would be. "That is why he seems so bad, because he tries to make your father proud of him. Ares is the only father-figure he's known... and the only one he will know." No one knew Strife's true father, only Discord... and the fact of the matter was that it would stay that way. "Oh, and he's not murderous... just an idiot." She smiled, almost showing some love from her small grin.
"Plus, Evander, we must come up with a way to get the item from it's current holder." She crossed her arms, glancing to her Aunt Hecate then to Persephone-who truly was her sister, but her aunt as well. "Persephone... we just need to talk right now."

She had remained stoic and silent as Persephone had entered. It would take days to get that happy smell out of here. Hecate muttered to herself within her mind, arms folded, occasionally unfolding to pat the heads of her lovelies, not any more movement then just that. Her eyes would vary back and forth between the two Goddesses, slightly amused at the Goddess of Spring taking on a venomous attitude towards Discord, who she knew was not to fond of the pretty blond, but also was aware that the dark haired woman would take Persephone over Aphrodite any day. This just furtherly amused the much elder Goddess.
Her eyes shifted to Evander and slowly back to the wife of Hades with a slight shake her head, “ I brought him here, not Discord.” She answered simply, “ He was causing disruption and someone had to put a stop to it. I was nearby a felt it a duty.” She left out the fact the little demi brat had stolen some of Cupid’s belongings, figuring that was between him and his mother and or father.
“ I think Persephone should know.” She suddenly brought up, almost randomly as it were, her gaze drifting towards Discord, “ She can be trusted, and perhaps even be of help.” All the dark Goddess could hope was that her sometimes friend would not tell her at times annoying husband. If Hades became aware, there was a chance Zues would become knowledgeable as well and as a trusted alliance of the king of the Gods, Hecate felt it was better for him to be in the dark for now, in fact better for everyone all the way around truly.

She glared suddenly again at her half sister. Standing slowly but holding Evander at her side, her hand gently on his shoulder, as if a caring sister or aunt or mother would do. She would protect him. Persephone did inherit one thing from her father Zeus, that was his stubborn pride. And with it came a anger that could rise and fall just as swift as any warrior or God.
"Maybe not, But unlike some others I take pride in what I have become. I was chosen, I am entrusted by Hades, and I will do my best to make him proud." She thought of her Husband, she hadn't seen him today, he was busy with his duties. But that she respected in full, and unlike some she would not be overbearing.
Suddenly Persephone regained her whole composure, just as the floral scent hovered only around her and Evander, and not lingering any other places in this leir of Hecate. The scent was growing dimmer. Slowly arms folded over her chest, " I respect any dicision our father has made. There must have been a reason for her banishment, and thus the spoiled brat and yourself should not blame Zeus, but wonder what it was that she did. And try and fix this. But of course, I understand that some beings are not capable of change. A shame really." She didn't seem moved by any emotion, her composure fallen calm and laxed and gentle as most always. The atmosphere had in itself grown more calm, Discord in fact seemed more calm. She did enjoy it better like this. And she would listen to the two silently before a slowly glance to Evander came, and another well placed smile. Persephone had not spent alot of time with Evander, they used to play games when he was young and her father and his mother asked for some looking after. She rather enjoyed it, it reminded her of her time with her darling Adonis.
She heard the sudden words of Hecate, who had become silent through all of the recent dispute. Then with a nod to a woman she rather well, respected to a degree, she smiled softly. " And that we should be thankful for. After all, it is the good role modeling that brings a God or even Demi God to his greatness." turning back to Evander she kneeled slowly and now placed both hands upon his shoulders. A very gentle feeling running through them. " You do know Evander. That having great gifts comes with a great price. A responsibility. And as long as we use it to the right instead of to the wrong, we will be as great as those we admire most." Her words ran soft and soothing to the one who listened.
Suddenly her attentions drew towards Hecate as she spoke. A slender brow slowly raising as her form moved to do so as well. The white flow of her robes, gathering in sway. "Is there something I should know Hecate?" she was looking upon her quizically. Looking for some hidden answer, somewhere deep perhaps.

With distaste in her mouth, Discord stared at Persephone and rolled her eyes. "My daughter must learn to deal with punishments... I am not trying to get the damn Cronos stone for her I'm trying to keep it FROM her. She shall stay on Earth as she was punished, and she shall suffer like anyone of us would if that would happen to us." Discord crossed her arms. She did have motherly instincts-after all, once you have your 20th child, you learn, sooner or later, that you do have to take charge and stop letting them lead their own lives.
"And yes, Aunt Hecate is right, you do have a right to know... whether I enjoy telling you is another thing- i would rather you be the blunt end of the outcome rather than know about it... and stick your damn flowery nose in it... however..." Yes, there was a growl within each syllable that Discord spoke-she Hated happiness, and in the Underworld, there was no part that should be happy-except for the Alasian Fields.
Pacing to her sister's side she looked her over. "My daughter found out that a thief on the Earth Realm stole the Cronos Stone." She crossed her arms. "And thus she plans on getting him to steal the rest of the spear of triptych... and well you know the rest. And my daughter is such. She will stop at nothing and soon try to rest on the throne herself, or just kill off everyone in her way TILL such an event happens. But one thing is for sure, Zeus will die if she gets ahold of that item."
With that she quieted and shot a glare of pure fire towards Evander. "I hope not to see you again anytime soon..."
Her eyes rested on Hecate with a slight smile-the only type she could offer, before her body disappeared in flames.

Persephone watched Discords every movements with calculation and caution, even though she never moved herself, just her eyes. " I think that is the first respectable thing I have Ever heard you say Discord." her tone was venomness, yet sweet at the same time, an odd combination.
A pale hand slowly moved from her side to place itself gently on the back of Evander. Discord was moving closer and she never could trust that woman. Her touch was soft though, almost as if only air was pressing against his back gently. Evander was her nephew, and she knew that her father loved him as did his wife. As did many others, including Hercules. And from Persephone had known, Hercules was to be trusted, and those he trusted and loved as so. Her younger brother, a demi god, was more of a God than most. Plus Persephone did love Evander herself. She enjoyed any time that perhaps him and Adonis would enjoy, them happy meant she was happy.
At the explaination of what was going on, Persephone's facial expression changed. Her eyes grew a bit distant and wide, her mouth slacked a bit, she was speechless. The Chronos Stone, Stolen by a Mortal! How is this possible. Then came the knowledge of Ati using it against Zeus. " Never will we let that happen, we can't." said her voice suddenly, slow. She could feel it within, she had to tell Hades. He must know, his brother, everyone was in danger.
Suddenly Discord was gone and Persephone turned to Hecate. " See that Evander gets home soon please. His mother will be most worried, and I am sure she would allow the conversation to continue at his home, where it is safe." Suddenly kneeling, she took her finger and poked Evander's nose softly. " You try to behave, at least for a second Ok.." she smirked and hugged the boy moving and beginning to journey from Hecate's lair. But she was stopped suddenly, stopped by Cerberus as she moved passed the gates of the Underworld. The dog barked and bounded her way, not often was the creature happy to see anyone. When he came to her, she did her best to scratch every head she could, laughing gently. " Ceberus..please..I must find your master."

Lips formed into a scowl. She hated coming down to the Underworld. Well, at least she was going down there alive, and returning the same. Most who went down, never came back up. There souls swimming in the eternal, fountain of death as it were. The Fates weaving their loom, pulling the string of life for each mortal who’s time came. It was such a thing that got her in the case she was in now. The reason for her being living amongst the dead in the darkness. How could she have been so foolish? Simple. Aphrodite was often a tricky and mischievous Goddess to deal with. Love. Pah. Who needed it. She for one had turned her back on it.
Dark wine hued hair was pulled up, its long strands cascading down behind her tied in a large ribbon of color. While simple Greek dress flowed, slippers crossing over the grounds. She could hear the growling of Ceberus. The three headed dog that guarded the gates of the Underworld. That served and protected Hades. Just as she served him. Not by all choice. There was that love factor again. She had bargained with the God to spare her lovers life. Offering her soul. Now she was eternally in servitude to him. Well, until her mortality was no more. But who was to say, Hades, wouldn’t keep her around after that.
Over the years, bitterness had grown as well as cynicism. An eye brow arched as she moved down the jagged hallway of rock and brimstone. The scent of flora. Persephone. Goddess of Spring. Wife to Hades. Lordess of the Underworld. Stepping slowly forwards from the shadows a hand came to rest upon jutted hip. “Well, Spring over all ready.”<br>Megara knew about Persephone, as well as the story as so many mortals did. Well perhaps those not to the extend she did. How truly the flower Goddess loved the Lord of the Dead. There were brief running on her part with the Goddess, but Meg tried to keep herself out of the Underworld. Unless times like this were at hand…<br>

Eyeing the bucket of poison that sat before her, she sighed before begining her work. Turning to her right, her hand lifted and she eyed the flask that quickly appeared in fire and sulfure. "This should be enough..." came a quiet whisper from the lips of the Gothic Goddess.
Dipping the flask into the poison liquid, her eyes glanced as the bubbles quickly stopped and her fingers slightly tingled with a burning sensation. Strong poison. Taking a deep breath she popped the cork into the flask once more.
Eyes glanced up once more as she was on bended knee-eyeing the people around them, her eyes landing on Fenrir before she disappeared in fire and smoke.
Appearing in Greece, her eyes sang with fire, she glanced around-her temple strummed with the sounds of her younger children fighting. "Knock it off!" came her yell as she looked briefly from side to side of the modest temple. A quick silence coming over the entire stone building.
"Where is my quiver and bow, Kydoimos?" Eyes shone to the side, her son standing by his sister Kera's side. He gulped, handing Kera the items.
"Here they are mother..." Kera answered for her brother quietly. Rushing to her side and handing it to her mother, fear residing in the young one's eyes.
Smiling, Discord pet her daughter's head, trailing a finger down her slender and defined cheek. "Thank you Kera... now, show me my arrows..." With that Discord exposed the flask and opened the top-an intoxication of deadly scents filling the air.
Kera spread the arrows wide, eyeing the liquid as it spread upon the silver tips. "Who is-" but she was cut off with a strict look from her mother.
"I have a job to do..." with that she grasped the quiver and her bow. "I will be back..." her body quickly disappeared in hail of fire.

Persephone couldn't get away from the mut. That really only made her laugh a bit. There was only a few in the Underworld whom the dog was friendly with, Persephone happened to be one of them. Perhaps it was because Persephone always treated the dog, or gave it attention as she would any other living creature she had come to love.
Another pat, when suddenly a low growl grew. That must have meant some one was near, and yes indeed someone was. A figure stepped from the shadows causing Persephone to turn and eye the woman. She spoke so confident, without pause or caution. The pale gaze of Persephone suddenly trailed along the woman, studying her, she was once mortal yes she remembered this girl. Megara, a servant to her husband. She gave her soul for love, and so Persephone had always felt a bit sorry for the girl. Even if she hardly had ever met her or said a word more than a few.
Her lips curled more in a smile as her hand rested gently on one of Cerberus' heads. The dog seemed to growl still just a bit before Persephone spoke to the woman.." Yes...it's my time to be at my Lords side. Which I had missed" of course Persephone loved her time with her mother greatly, she loved her mother greatly, but she had grown to miss Hades, she always did in the times they spent apart. If only her mother would not grow so sad, she would most likely stay with him even longer. If only she understood or could feel it.
"Hush Cerberus, this is a servant of your Master. She is welcomed anywhere in this Realm." the dog just glanced up at Persephone before taking off on his way and Persephone returned to attention to Megara. " Do you wish you had taken back your vow?" She was never really shy to ask any question that was on her mind, and right now she was just curious on how the girl really felt.

Her body seemed to tremble, she decided to appear in stealth, not in any form that would be detected. She appeared b esides Ceberus, the beast snorting in her direction before continuing on.
Ceberus was a fickle animal-basically two heads liked her, one did not. Such the way of the world. The one that disliked her continued on, used to her presence and not wanting to bother with her, while the other two watched intently as they passed.
Smiling she bowed her head in greeting-the underworld had been her playground when she was younger. The animal had been around when she was there-with Pain and Agony. She was just a 'regular' down there.
So the animal paid no mind. She stood in the darkness, eyeing her sister/aunt. There was another standing beside her, another with no soul that Discord could sense. Snuffing she rolled her eyes. "Mortals..."
Pulling an arrow out of the quiver, she placed it on her bow string and eyed her mark. Then she pulled her bow down. The mortal must go first. A slight wound would put the woman out of commision.
Grinning slightly she aimed once more, this time on Megara. Her arm pulled the taut string back, force teaming at the string. The grin continued at her lips as she allowed the arrow to stream across the darkness, aim true to the shoulder of the woman who spoke to her mark.
Discord shot the poor princess with a poisoned tipped arrow-eyes staring as the wound appeared beneath the arrow's enterance into her skin.
However there was no time to enjoy her shot, she must disappear for now. Her eyes flashed in fire as she disappeared in the classic brimstone smell-however, in the underworld, the smell drifted and mingled with the twin smells that continuously lingered within the halls.

Persephone awaited on the answer to the question she posed. Did she truely follow her husband out of respect and love for him? Or did she just meerly follow because the deal was set. Her servitude for his mercy. She would not speak a word of it, in fact in a way she felt sorry for the girl. She could not enjoy the splendors that were the Elysian Fields, or even returned to her old love. Persephone could not even think that, for it reminded her that what if something were to happen where she could not return to her own? Just because the start of their relationship was not a rather peaceful romantic one, Persephone learned to love Hades, and she pledged her loyalties to him because she did.
Persephone did not take much notice on the odd actions that were given by Cerberus as he walked away. She just eyed him as he stopped suddenly. Curious, yet not abnormal. Her attentions were drawn back to this Princess. Ignoring Cerberus and anything that may have caused him to stop.
Megara was about to speak but something would not let it be so. Suddenly she watched as the woman began to grow faint, and fall to the ground. Surprized by this, Persephone moved quick to catch the woman and lay her gently as so on the could damp flooring. Perhaps the smell of Brimstone had gotten to her? it had that affect sometimes on others. Persephone gently took the womans head and began to stroke her cheek gently, trying to wake her. " Mergara. Please awake." but her soft tone had no use on the girl. She was out cold.
This was all to odd and preculiar. Then Persephone noticed something even more preculiar. There was a mark that appeared, like she had been shot by something. Suddenly a horror struck Persephone's face, one of mixed courage and fear. Her eyes flashed up to look around quickly. Every which way to see where this came from. " Show yourself..Coward." she spoke suddenly, wondering where this all came from. But she would not leave Megara's side.

Meg’s attention turned from the three headed beast to the lovely Spring Goddess, it wasn’t a wonder why Hades had taken a liking to her. Then in the same motion she felt a bit bitter, at least in the aspect of love. Still it was rather dumb. But that was of no consequence now. Soft shoulders shrugged the small straps of her greek gown. Had she wished she’d taken back her vow? Lips pursed. “How would you feel. Save a guys life and how does he repay you? By running of with a blonde. Er no offense to you Goddess.”<br> The mortal princess slowly moved forwards “Sometimes Hades is a rat ya know. But I guess its better than dealing with mortal scum, and lets face it. His two little buddy henchmen don’t get the job done half the time.” She liked Persephone, at least she was a Goddess she could talk to, with out worrying that she might have been smote. Lips parted to say something more, but nothing came from her voice. There was pain in her shoulder. Flimsy silken dresses don’t stand much resistance.
Eyes rolled back as the poison from the arrow worked its way rather quickly into her body. Well the day just kept getting better and better, didn’t it? It couldn’t have been meant for her. Weakly hand rose to try and gather the Goddess attentions but she had turned, and Megara fell to the ground of brimstone…<br>

Suddenly she appeared once more, this time above Persephone on the rocks that lined the corridor they stood in. Arm pulled back the string that was so taut that most mortals would have trouble. Luckily-she wasn't mortal. Grinning some she eyed her sister, her aunt, her fellow immortal.
Man was she ever going to enjoy this.
Eyes stared towards the woman who married her favorite uncle, the woman who made him so... different, softer-not the Hades she had once loved. Closing back the memories her smirk turned into a feral snarl as she let go of the arrow that wizzed through the air.
Discord disappeared before the arrow even hit her sister. Persephone who stood like a lamb being herded to the slaughter, was in perfect position. Discord was luckily she was good at what she did-her arrow flew true towards Persephone's abdomen- the same area that had gotten Persephone banished to the underworld.
As her body reappeared behind Persephone, just as the arrow entered the abdomen just above the intestines. Her grin grew wide slightly. "I'm here on a mission- which calls for you... truly, with the issue we are having- I did not want to do this, but I had no choice." Then she walked towards Persephone, eyeing the goddess as she fell to one knee, clutching her stomach.
"It's Asguardian poison... strong enough to put you out for quite some time, but not nearly strong enough to kill a goddess such as yourself, sister." Kneeling to Persephone's side- the woman fallen on the floor- Discord looked at her with slight concern. "You won't die... there is no fear in that, but... you won't be awake for what will happen." Grabbing her sister, she felt her body disappear in a storm of fire. "Just a distraction for your dear husband..."
